Guess what? You're smarter than that! If it sounds too good to be true, it is!
We have all seen the promises from the “gurus” earning thousands of dollars a week by simply following this system or that.

We are tired of MLMs and networking marketing with endless promises. We are tired of bugging family and friends to try to make a living. (Not that all of the products are bad; I have made money from some of those companies, and I will support my friends)

But let's get honest here, there is no shortcut to getting rich. It is only going to deliver you heartache and frustration. Plain and simple, I am sorry if I am the one to deliver you the bad news.

Find a Company or an Entrepreneur you admire and follow what they do.

Do they have the success and lifestyle you want to achieve? Be careful as not everything you see online is true, really watch not just the social media post but what others are saying before you copy what they do. Please do your homework before investing in their programs and services. I have worked online for 20 years and behind the scenes with many businesses. Trust me when I tell you to be careful if you want to set yourself up for success.

Let's explore a few questions to see if your idea will be profitable:

  1. Do you have a viable business idea? Does your idea solve a problem for your ideal client? Is your ideal client actively looking for a solution to their problem?
  2. Do you have start-up money or need investors? The beauty of an online business is that it does not require a lot of start-up money, but you do need to think about the big picture and how long it will take before you start to see the money rolling in. Do you plan to employ a virtual assistant or other independent contractors? How much money will you need to get your website and other necessary things up and going?
  3. Do you have an online presence? Have you registered your social media profiles? Have you set up a website? What does your website look like? Make sure everything looks consistent across the web.
  4. Do you have a marketing plan? Marketing is vital to growing an online business. So many people start online businesses and play on Facebook or Tiktok for endless hours and accomplish nothing. You need to make sure you have a plan to make money.
    Focus on creating a stable foundation for your online business and continuously tweak your marketing plan to attract a flow client continuously.
